Tidbits de la vida

This week has been pretty low-key for the most part with school, teaching English, choir and taking walks- but here are a few of the highlights!

-It was sunny for a couple of days this week, which has been a nice change from the rain and cloudy days we have been experiencing lately.

-I purchased my tickets for my trip for spring break! Katie and I are flying to England for a few days to spend with Megan in England, then we all are flying to Ireland the Wednesday before Easter, where we will be staying for holy week We may or may not decide to visit Scotland too! We are all excited!

-A couple of us went out for Tapas Wednesday night and had Sangria-which was very good!

-I joined the volleyball team here at school, they only practice once a week, so it is like an intramural, but it was fun nonetheless. We got to talk to some of the girls there and learn more about their lives and school!

-Watching the England vs. Spain Futbol game with my host family, and being informed by my host sister who were the most attractive players :)

-Ok this isn’t really that exciting, but it made me happy. I didn’t bring any nail polish here to Spain, and I broke down and bought the most beautiful shade of pink nail polish and I did my nails. Ahh it feels so much better :)

-Today I am starting my inter-cambio with two of the professors children. This program is where people get together once a week to exchange English and Spanish to develop language skills. Everyone else in my group is working with the students or professors at the school, but I am going to work with these two cute kids, which should be exciting! I will have to give you all an update soon!
